Website editor’s note: There are local groups springing up all around New Zealand to oppose the imposition of 5G – or in some cases, to oppose applications by telecommunications companies to build new cellular phone towers close to homes, schools etc.

North Island Groups

Whangarei has a Stop 5G Facebook group and also a petition and these are below:
Mangawhai has a Facebook group on the 5G issue and there is also a petition to the Kaipara District Council.

North Auckland (Warkworth and greater Rodney area)
There is a group for the North Auckland (Warkworth/Rodney area) which has a FB group and also a petition for this area. Details are below:

Concerned Citizens for a 5G Free West Auckland
This group does not have a Facebook page. The Tairua community also has a petition against a proposed Spark cellular phone tower that the company wanted to put on a commercial site that bordered with housing and was also close to many local businesses.
There is also a petition to stop 5G in Thames, which is below:

The link to the Paeroa group and their petition against a proposed Spark cellular phone tower three metres away from a Paeroa resident’s back door – and close to a school is below:

There are groups in the South Island that will be listed here as soon as permission has been obtained to post their contact details.
